Filtering in West University
The Filtering project will be presented at the Safe Streets Fest on June 2nd, 2024.
Project Scope and Statement
The group focused on filtering the West University neighborhood of Eugene, Oregon to encourage cycling and calm streets. They were inspired by work done previously on Eugene’s 13th Avenue and Dutch designs. Elements from these case studies influenced the filtering map as well as the intersection redesigns completed by the group.
